1000 Towns of Canada is a startup with a noble mission of advertising small towns* across Canada, helping them to get a voice out to new tourists, generating more revenue and financial sustainability for small communities while preserving their local culture and society.
* towns are cities with less than 30,000 inhabitants and Canada has almost 1000 communities with this profile
Our client is a Startup with a minimal budget that needs a new website and is open to suggestions on a possible rebranding and new technologies.
According to the Project Scope discussed with the client in our first meeting, our challenge was to redesign their Main page and a template of a Town Page as well as a possible new logo in two weeks.
Our final package had all the deliverables needed to implement the project.
Their current website runs over Wordpress, but the company is opened to new suggestions on technology if necessary.

The research phase of the project had two fronts:
1. A snapshot of the existing website, analyzing their Google Analytics data to validate their visitor's profile, technology and standards to be used.
Analyze information in regards to the overall performance of the website, SEO, server and accessibility.
2. Conduct in-depth research on the target market validating the personas and design rationales.
The research was made using Online Survey systems as well as in-person and phone interviews.
